Nurse Harrow has joined Deadlock, and she is the last hero of the City Never Sleeps releases. Valve’s post gives her four abilities and a set of voting stats.
Valve’s Steam post went up at 20:59 UTC on 20 October. That was 7:59am AEDT on 21 October by our conversion, which fits the 8am Wednesday start we flagged in our Violet report.
Valve says Harrow now “joins us on the streets of Manhattan”. It places her at the Marble Hill Possession Ward. Here is what her kit does, as the post describes it.
Leech Therapy throws a jar of leeches that attach to oncoming enemies. They drain health and energy, then crawl back to deliver their haul. Wretched Vapors possesses allies with a powerful boost of effectiveness. Valve warns of side effects when the vapors wear off.
Healing Needles injects medicine into teammates. Lurking Terrors opens her bag and releases what she has captured, which makes enemies run for cover. The post gives no damage, healing or cooldown numbers, so check in game for those.

Valve also says Harrow’s arrival marks the end of the City Never Sleeps releases. You picked the heroes by vote, and we covered the earlier winners: the Rat King, Baba and Solomon.
The post lists the voting stats:
- More than 110 million votes were cast over the event.
- The closest contest was Baba against Solomon, decided by nearly 0.5%.
- Only 847 players voted in every round and only for the eventual winner of each.
- 36,236 players voted in every round and never once picked the winner.
- 22,194 players voted only for Nurse Harrow, and one of them cast exactly 1000 votes for her.
Valve adds that Harrow voters had a higher win rate than the voters for any other hero. It gives no figure for that.
When we read Steam’s most-played chart on 24 October, Deadlock ranked fifth, the same as the week before. That is a Steam rank on that day, not a player count.
