Violet has joined Deadlock’s roster with an ink-slinging kit built around her brush. The last City Never Sleeps hero, Nurse Harrow, lands early on Wednesday morning in Australia.

Valve says Violet is available in-game now. The post went up at 8am AEDT on Saturday 17 October (we converted that from 21:00 UTC on Friday). It is the next hero in the City Never Sleeps run.

Here is what her kit does, in Valve’s words. Her Living Ink “both empowers her bullets, and draws mere inspiration into reality”. In Flow State, her ink glides towards danger to deal damage, or away from it so she can get out quickly. Still Life is how she captures her enemies’ likeness. With Abstract Landscape she surrounds herself and anyone nearby with “her biggest and most ambitious piece yet”.

Valve’s line for her is “I worked too hard to get here, I can’t stop now.”

Next up is the last one. Valve calls Nurse Harrow “our final hero”, and says she joins on Tuesday 20 October at 2pm PDT. That is 8am AEDT on Wednesday 21 October by our conversion, because 2pm PDT is 21:00 UTC. In Brisbane it is 7am, and in Perth it is 5am.

You can catch up on the run so far before then. We covered the Rat King and the hero vote and the chess-playing Solomon when they landed. The post thanks everyone who took part in the voting, and says it will be back next week for what it calls the culmination of the update.

If you are not in yet, note that Deadlock is still in development. Its Steam page lists the release date as to be announced.
