ENTERPRISE swept Chiefs in the upper final and wait in the grand final. Man LFO knocked out 7VEN in three maps, so Chiefs and Man LFO play for the other spot this morning.

Day two of the Rainbow Six Siege APL Oceania Stage Finals at PAX Aus is done, and today decides it. The official bracket has every score, and here is where the weekend stands before you head in.

ENTERPRISE Esports beat Chiefs Esports Club 2–0 in the upper final. They took both maps 7–4. The bracket data does not name the maps, so we cannot tell you which ones were played. The first map started at 4:05pm AEDT, 35 minutes after its 3:30pm slot, and the second finished at 6:04pm.

The lower semi-final went the distance. Man LFO won the first map 7–5, 7VEN levelled with a 7–5 win on the second, and Man LFO took the decider 8–7. That last map started at 9:15pm and finished at 10:18pm, which ends the weekend for 7VEN. If you missed the upper semi-finals on Friday, Man LFO lost to ENTERPRISE there, 7–2 and 8–7.

Here is what is left, at the scheduled times in AEDT:

  • Sunday 11am: lower final, Chiefs vs Man LFO
  • Sunday 2pm: grand final, ENTERPRISE vs the lower final winner

Every match in the bracket is best of three. These are scheduled times, and the matches ran late again on Saturday: the first map of the upper final started 35 minutes behind its slot, and the first map of the lower semi started 26 minutes behind its 6:30pm slot. Allow for the stage to run behind. Our schedule post has the times the finals were first announced for.

There is plenty riding on it. PAX Aus says four of Oceania’s best teams are playing for a $40,000 prize pool and a place at the Osaka Major, and Ubisoft’s bracket lists all four as Australian. On the bracket as it reads now, ENTERPRISE need one more series win, while Chiefs and Man LFO need two.

If you are going, the Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage is on the PAX Aus expo floor at MCEC in Melbourne. Our PAX Aus guide covers the rest of the show.
