Everything To Sort Out Before PAX Aus Opens At MCEC
PAX Aus 2026 opens tomorrow at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and runs until Sunday 11 October. The official FAQ covers most of what first-timers and regulars need to know before they arrive.
The essentials are below, taken from that page and the show’s expo announcement.
Badges And Payment
Anyone who bought a badge after the mailout deadline, and international buyers, collect it from the badge pickup desk at MCEC. The desk is open today until 8pm, then from 8am to 6pm on each show day.
The FAQ lists Single Day badges at $77 and Early Bird 3-Day badges at $185. Whether any remain is not confirmed here, and badges should only be bought from PAX itself.
MCEC is a cashless venue, so only card payments work anywhere at the show.
Merch, Kids And Prams
Merch Main on the expo floor opens 10am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday. Merch Lite on the main concourse opens 9am to 6pm on all three days.
Pre-ordered merch can be picked up from the badge desk today, or from Merch Lite during the show.

Attendees aged 14 and under need a parent or guardian aged 18 or older with their own badge. Children aged 6 and under enter free without one.
Prams are allowed everywhere except the Expo Hall, and free pram parking runs from 9:30am to 7pm each day.
Panels, Streams And Esports
Panels are first come, first served and need a badge, and the schedule can change, so the PAX app is the place to check. Tournament sign-ups happen on site at each area.
For those at home, the biggest theatres stream on Twitch at /pax, /pax2 and /pax3, with PAX Arena on /paxaustraliaofficial.
The Rainbow Six Siege APL Oceania Stage Finals run on the Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage, with start times covered here. The Red Bull Wings Cup wildcard in EA Sports FC 27 runs on Saturday and Sunday, with two places at the national final up for grabs.
