ENTERPRISE beat Chiefs 2–1 in the grand final at PAX Aus, and did not lose a series all weekend. Chiefs took the middle map 7–4 to force a decider, but ENTERPRISE won it 7–3.
The Rainbow Six Siege APL Oceania Stage Finals are done. ENTERPRISE Esports beat Chiefs Esports Club 2–1 in Sunday’s grand final, according to the official bracket. Here is how it went, map by map.
Map one went to ENTERPRISE, 7–2, and it ran from 2:25pm to 3:04pm AEDT. Chiefs hit back on map two with a 7–4 win, which ran from 3:19pm to 4:11pm and forced a decider.
Map three went to ENTERPRISE, 7–3, and it ran from 4:26pm to 5:10pm. The bracket data does not name the maps, so we cannot tell you which ones were played.
The grand final was scheduled for 2pm, and the first map started 25 minutes behind that slot. If you were following along, that is the same story as the rest of the weekend.
ENTERPRISE did not drop a series. They swept Man LFO in Friday’s upper semi-finals, swept Chiefs in the upper final, then needed three maps in the grand final. Chiefs got there the hard way, through the lower bracket. They beat 7VEN on Friday, then beat Man LFO 2–0 on Sunday morning, 7–4 and 7–4. We covered the lower semi-final and the schedule before the final.
PAX Aus said before the weekend that four of Oceania’s best teams were playing for a $40,000 prize pool and a place at the Osaka Major. The bracket page does not say how either is decided, so check Ubisoft’s own channels for the results. Ubisoft’s bracket lists all four teams as Australian.
If you went to PAX Aus, the Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage was on the expo floor at MCEC in Melbourne. Our PAX Aus guide covers the rest of the show.
