Probably Stolen developer Questing Goose Studio says 1 million shopkeepers have now opened up shop in its cyberpunk shopkeeper sim, and it has used the milestone to publish the game’s first official roadmap.
The Steam post went up early on Saturday, AEDT, under a heading that reads “1 MILLION Shopkeepers have opened the shop!” — the studio’s own count, and a different figure from the 500,000 sales it reported earlier.
The roadmap itself is an image, and it covers three updates. December brings the Junker Update, which adds a new starting profession.
A major update follows in January 2027 and another in April 2027, each listed as including new items, new perks, new NPCs and new machines.
The studio adds a few conditions in the post. November is not on the roadmap at all, because the month is “all about polish” — bug fixes and quality-of-life changes drawn from player reports.
The January and April entries are also only a selection, with the studio saying they “will include more than what’s shown”, and smaller patches will land in between.
The most useful line for players comes last: “Every update on this roadmap will be free.”

That polish has already started. A few hours after the roadmap, Cumulative Update 1.0.0.12 added an option to stop the pop culture inspired customers visiting the store, and it now lets players shoot most storyline characters to end their storylines early.
It is the fourth Probably Stolen story on these pages, after the game passed 500,000 sales and patched its modding system at the start of the month.
The roadmap only runs six months, but the studio says support is planned beyond it, with details on the rest of 2027 to come. Probably Stolen is A$22.49 on Steam in Australia at the time of writing, down from A$24.99, and is published by tinyBuild.
