Arrowhead’s latest patch is small, but it changes what the AMW-20 APEX can break. It also puts right the Bushwacker numbers from the patch before.
Helldivers 2 patch 7.2.2 is out, and if you run the AMW-20 APEX, it is worth another look tonight. The 7.2.2 patch notes went up at 9pm AEDT on Thursday, by our conversion. Arrowhead says the APEX could not destroy things that weapons in the same category could, naming the Anti Material Rifle and the Autocannon.
The fix has three parts. Demolition strength goes up to 30, so the APEX can now destroy larger things such as cover and container doors. Its caliber drops from 60 to 20, which Arrowhead says means lower damage drop-off over long distances, so it should work better as a sniper. The armoury also now shows its armour penetration correctly as “Anti-Tank”.

The LAS-44 NOVA gets the same label fix. Its armour penetration also now displays as “Anti-Tank”, so the armoury tells you what it can actually be used against. If you skipped either weapon because of that number, check it again before you drop.
The SG-22 Bushwacker gets a correction. Arrowhead says its changes in the previous patch were calculated incorrectly. The correct values are damage up from 405 to 486, and durable damage up from 108 to 135. That follows the bigger 7.2.0 balance update earlier this week.

Two crashes are fixed: a rare renderer crash on PC and Xbox, and a rare crash on boot. The patch also removes two music tracks, which Arrowhead says does not affect gameplay.
Anything still broken is on Arrowhead’s Known Issues page, linked from the notes. Helldivers 2 sat at 19th on Steam’s most-played chart this morning, and you can find it on the Steam store. If you missed the Liberty Day rifle earlier in the week, that story has the details.
