Battlefield 6 is free to try right now, and it is cheap if you like it!

EA’s Steam post says “every available map and mode is free to play” in the Full Game Trial. Its disclaimers page puts the Steam trial from 17:00 UTC on 15 October to 17:00 UTC on 19 October, which is 4am AEDT on Friday 16 October until 4am AEDT on Tuesday 20 October (we did the conversion ourselves, and EA says trial times can change). PlayStation runs a bit longer, to 20:00 UTC on 19 October, or 7am AEDT on Tuesday.

It is one trial per EA account, so make your run count (the disclaimers also say the PC version may need an EA account).

If it hooks you, Steam in Australia has the Standard Edition at A$43.98, which is 60 per cent off A$109.95. The store page says the offer ends on 20 October and gives no time of day.

We covered the Season 5 download times and the Las Vegas trailer last week.

So install it, grab three mates and get stuck into Breakthrough!
