The Swiss Stage is over. Karmine Corp, LYON and Bilibili Gaming took the last three quarterfinal spots on Sunday morning, Sydney time, and the bracket starts on Wednesday.
Round five of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage was three best-of-three deciders, and all three are now done. The results are on Riot’s Worlds schedule. This is not an Australian story. No Australian-related esports story verified today, so this is the international result we think an Australian League fan will want this week.
Karmine Corp beat Movistar KOI 2-0 at 4am AEDT. LYON beat LOS 2-1 at 7am, ending the Brazilian side’s run. Bilibili Gaming then swept Hanwha Life Esports 2-0 at 10am. All three times are converted to AEDT by us from Riot’s schedule.
That means Movistar KOI, LOS and Hanwha Life Esports go home. LOS had reached round five by beating Team Liquid Alienware on Saturday, as we reported in our round four wrap.
Here is the quarterfinal draw, all best-of-five, with times converted to AEDT by us from Riot’s schedule:
Top Esports vs Invictus Gaming is at 9am on Wednesday 4 November. Gen.G Esports vs LYON is at 9am on Thursday 5 November. Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming is at 9am on Friday 6 November. T1 vs Karmine Corp is at 9am on Saturday 7 November.
The semifinals follow at 9am on Sunday 8 November and 9am on Monday 9 November. The final is at 6am on Sunday 15 November.
Every quarterfinal starts at 9am AEDT, so plan your mornings around them. A best-of-five can go to five games.
You can watch every match on LoL Esports, and VODs of Sunday’s matches are up on the LoL Esports YouTube channel.
