Pikmin Bloom is turning five, and your Pikmin are dressing up for it! The anniversary event runs from 1 November at midnight to 30 November at 11:59pm, local time, so if you are in Australia it is already on.
The new 5th Anniversary Toy Jewelry Decor Pikmin are the stars, and the 4th Anniversary Flower Box and 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin are back for the party too (the Cupcake one skips Ice Pikmin, sorry Ice Pikmin fans). You clear Event Challenge missions to earn seedlings, and the post says you will meet the eight Toy Jewelry types at random, so there is no promise you will finish the set.
Giant Brilliant Mushrooms show up on 1 November, 7 and 8 November, 14 and 15 November, 21 and 22 November, and 27 to 30 November. That means today is one of them, so grab your friends and go mushroom hunting!
There is a Premium Event Pass in the shop for players from level 20, and buying it by 11:59pm local time on 7 November adds 500 Acrylic Fruit Charms. The post gives no price, and we are not telling you to buy it.
Also coming soon are Secret Caves. Find a Cave Map (sometimes it comes with a postcard), send in a big squad and they explore on their own, and you blow your whistle to pull them back when a creature is about to strike. Your Pikmin will not die in there, which is a relief!
Pikmin Bloom is free on the Australian App Store, and the post asks for app version 156 or later for the new decor to display properly. It was fifth on Apple’s top-grossing games chart in Taiwan when we read it on 1 November.
So lace up those shoes and go for a walk!
