Two quarterfinals down, two to go. Gen.G and Invictus Gaming will meet in the first semi-final at 9am AEDT on Sunday.
The first half of the Worlds 2026 knockouts is done: Gen.G swept LYON 3-0 this morning, and Invictus Gaming beat Top Esports 3-1 yesterday, according to Riot’s Worlds results page.
This is not an Australian story, since no Pacific team is left in the bracket, as covered after the Swiss stage. It is here because every remaining match starts at a time you can watch from Australia.
LYON, listed under the LCS on Riot’s page, could not take a game off the LCK’s Gen.G. You can watch the full GEN vs LYON broadcast on the LoL Esports channel, or catch the day’s highlights below.
Invictus Gaming won the all-LPL tie, which opened the knockouts at 9am Wednesday. Top Esports took one game before IG closed it out 3-1, and the TES vs IG broadcast is up in full too.
That sets up the first semi-final, where Gen.G play Invictus Gaming at 9am AEDT on Sunday 8 November, a best of five.
Two quarterfinals remain: Dplus KIA play Bilibili Gaming at 9am AEDT tomorrow, Friday 6 November, and T1 play Karmine Corp at 9am AEDT on Saturday 7 November, both best of five.
The winners meet in the second semi-final at 9am AEDT on Monday 9 November, and the final is at 6am AEDT on Sunday 15 November.
