No team from Pacific is left at VALORANT Champions Shanghai after the first five days of the Playoffs. Four teams remain, and they play from 5pm AEDT on Friday 16 October.
Here is where it ended for the region, according to Riot’s results. Our earlier reports list four Pacific teams, and Global Esports went out in the Groups Stage. The other three came through to the Playoffs, which Riot’s guide to the event says are double elimination, where two losses send you home.
Paper Rex lost 0-2 to LOUD on 7 October and 1-2 to T1 on 9 October. NONGSHIM REDFORCE lost 1-2 to Team Vitality on 8 October and 1-2 to 100 Thieves on 9 October.
T1 lost 0-2 to NRG on 7 October, beat Paper Rex on 9 October and fell 1-2 to G2 Esports on 11 October.
So the last four are LOUD, Team Vitality, G2 Esports and 100 Thieves. LOUD beat NRG 2-1 and Vitality beat G2 Esports 2-0, and neither of them has lost a Playoffs match. G2 Esports and 100 Thieves each have one loss.
Friday 16 October has two best-of-three matches, and the times are converted from Riot’s UTC start times. LOUD play Team Vitality at 5pm AEDT. G2 Esports play 100 Thieves at 8pm AEDT, and under Riot’s rule the loser of that match goes home.
Saturday 17 October is the Lower Bracket Final, a best-of-five that Riot’s schedule lists at 6pm AEDT. The Grand Final is on Sunday 18 October, also a best-of-five, at 5pm AEDT.
If you follow the region, our Oceania report explains what comes next for Oceanian teams. Riot’s schedule has no map scores, so we have left them out.
Block out Friday evening, because the first match is at 5pm.
