Got room for one more metroidvania this spooky season? Moadra has a date, and it’s Thursday 22 October on PS5 and PC!
PlayStation dropped the release date trailer this evening, and developer Gloomsoft confirmed the same day on Steam. You play Lieutenant Moadra Meras, heading down into the depths of the forgotten planet Protea VI, and the tagline sums it up nicely: “Endure… Evolve… or die.”
The Steam page promises a big interconnected world to explore at your own pace. You roll, dodge, wall jump and sprint, scan creatures with an X-ray scanner bot to find hidden paths, and blow up the local wildlife to soak up its Protoplasm (lumps of energy-packed biomass, delicious) so you can evolve your weapons and abilities.
There’s no price on Steam yet, so we can’t give you an Australian one. What you can do right now is play the free Moadra demo on Steam!
