Release Date Trailer Posted For He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe: Dragon Pearl Of Destruction
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on 4 February 2027. PlayStation posted the release date trailer to its YouTube channel just after midnight AEDT on Tuesday 13 October.
The date comes from the video’s description, which says the game “will be available on Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 on February 4th, 2027”.
The description counts “13 action-packed stages”. It says you can play as He-Man, She-Ra, Man-At-Arms and Teela, and “take on Skeletor’s evil forces”.
It also promises co-op, in the line “Team up with a friend for local co-op action to double the fun”. The description says nothing about online play.
The Masters of the Universe name belongs to Mattel. The description says the trademarks are “owned by, and used under license from, Mattel”.
Bitmap Bureau, the studio behind the game, announced it in an earlier post on its own site. The post names Limited Run Games as publisher.
That post listed Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a date of “April 28, 2026”. The new description names only the two PlayStation consoles, and the date it gives is later.
No price appears in the description, so there is nothing to convert to Australian dollars yet.
We have not watched the trailer, so this report covers only what its description says.
For now, the description commits to one date and two PlayStation consoles, and leaves the price and the other platforms unanswered.
