Rockstar Posts The Launch Trailer, With An Original Score Debut
Rockstar Games has published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer. Its official site dates the trailer 15 October 2026 and lists it at 1:29.
The site’s description reads “Check out the Launch Trailer, featuring the debut of “Flower in a Hurricane” from original score composers Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.”
The same page lists the game as “Coming November 19, 2026.” It names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the platforms, with a “Plays Best On” label for PS5.
Pre-orders are open on Rockstar’s page. It offers an Ultimate Edition and pre-order bonuses called the Vice City Pack. The page gives no price.
Rockstar’s synopsis sets the story in “Vice City, USA.” It says Jason and Lucia “find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America” when an easy score goes wrong.
The trailer sits alongside three other videos on the page: Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and An Extended Look, which runs 26:48.
Two earlier items sit in the same featured news list, both dated 8 October. One is The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations.
The other is Grand Theft Auto VI Collection Now at the Rockstar Store. Rockstar describes it as “new apparel and collectibles inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI.”
The page gives the release date only. It has no time of day and no time zone, so an Australian unlock time is not confirmed.
No official YouTube upload of the launch trailer could be confirmed when this was written, so it is not embedded here. Rockstar’s page plays it.
