Scam With Your Friends — a co-op game about running a call centre that tries to trick AI callers — is out on Steam, and its first day has already brought a hot fix list.
The studio’s launch post went up at 6:18am AEDT on Friday 16 October and says the game is “officially live on Steam.” It thanks players for 600,000 wishlists, which is the studio’s own figure.
Steam’s Australian store page lists it at A$12.55 on an introductory offer, 10 per cent off A$13.95. The page says the offer ends on 29 October and gives no time of day. Steam names JakeHub and Metater as developers and Jatater Worldwide as publisher, and lists the game for Windows with single-player, multiplayer and online co-op.
The post is upfront about teething problems. “If you’re experiencing issues with the AI or voice recognition, we hear you,” it says, and it tells players using non-English languages to let the Qwen3 text-to-speech download finish on the main menu.
The hot fixes followed at 9:01am AEDT. Voice downloads move to a dedicated server, and the game now warns you before you host or join if the higher-quality voices are not ready.
The notes also fix speech startup crashes on some PCs, naming GTX 1650 and RTX 4060 Ti systems, and fix incorrect PC clocks that blocked access to the AI. Public lobbies gain filters for player count and country.
Smaller items — a controller stick drift fix, a minimum five-second break between calls at your desk, and the removal of the gold watch option from Deluxe accessories — round out the list.
The introductory price runs to 29 October, according to the store page.
