EA Sports FC 27 Launch Trailer For Nintendo Switch 2
EA Sports FC 27 is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo of America posted the Switch 2 launch trailer for the game to YouTube on 25 September.
The trailer’s description opens with “The World’s Game is here!” and points to The Grounds, which it calls “a football playground where the streets meet the stadium”.
The same description promises greater control in every mode, as “community-driven innovations deliver more true-to-football gameplay”. The Nintendo store listing adds dynamic corners, enhanced attacking awareness and player-focused defending tailored for competitive play.
The Grounds is the headline difference on Nintendo hardware. The publisher description on the Nintendo store says “The Grounds mode, including Clubs, only available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 version.” A version for the original Switch is also listed, with the same 25 September release date.
The Nintendo store description lists the other changes this year. Manager Career gets a rebuilt Transfer Market with “realistic player values and active club bidding”, and new negotiation tactics, including performance and buy-back clauses.
Dynamic OVRs reflect player form, morale and fitness. Football Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, where curating Player Items grows a Gallery Level and earns rewards.
EA also cites match data from the top leagues in the world, powering “21,000+ licensed players”.
There is a deadline for returning players. The store listing says Club Membership rewards require playing both EA Sports FC 26 and EA Sports FC 27 before 1 November 2026, and current members keep their status by playing FC 27 before the same date.
The Switch 2 version carries optional in-game purchases, including random items, according to the store listing.
No Australian price for the Switch 2 version was found in a store that could be opened. On PC, Steam in Australia lists EA Sports FC 27 at A$109.95.
