WARDOGS Season 2 Drops Thursday After A 7pm AEDT Maintenance Window

WARDOGS Season 2 goes live on Thursday 15 October, after a maintenance window that starts at 7pm AEDT.

The patch notes went up on Steam at 1:59am AEDT on Thursday. Steam lists BULKHEAD as the developer and Team17 as the publisher, and the post calls this WARDOGS Early Access Season 2.

The notes give the maintenance window in UTC.

“There will be a scheduled maintenance window on October 15th between 08:00 and 09:30 UTC. We estimate roughly 90 minutess of downtime before the new season goes live.”

We converted that to AEDT ourselves. The window runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm on Thursday 15 October.

The notes add four weapons. They are the TCX-SPR assault rifle, the PP-19 Bizon SMG, the Evo-3 Ultra LMG and the M14 marksman rifle.

There are four new vehicles. They are the Wolf-110, the Wolf-110 with a ring-mounted M2 Browning, the T-72B3 main battle tank and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air vehicle.

There are three new buildables, the MG Nest, the Large Shelter and the Wooden Step. There is also a new Molotov, which can be thrown overarm or underarm.

Season 2 also brings a new rain weather preset. The notes describe the thunder this way.

“Thunder rolls in during heavier rain, and every player on the server hears the same strike at the same moment from the same direction. It is loud enough to mask footsteps, so use it strategically.”

The notes add limits on team switching. They apply once a team is more than 10 points ahead. The notes list them as follows.

“To stop late switching from deciding matches, once a team is more than 10 points ahead: You cannot switch teams again for 15 minutes after joining one. If you switch teams or join a match in progress, your map stays obscured until you reach the control zone for the first time. You cannot use the spawn vehicle until you reach the control zone for the first time.”

The Wager Vendor is not part of the launch. The notes say “The Wager Vendor is not available at Season 2 launch. It will open later in Season 2.”

The notes also cover helmet changes, a battery-powered infrared range finder and eight Gold Market camos. On Steam in Australia the game costs A$54.95.
