Hide & Seek Returns With A Free Event Pack, 33 Event Items And Twitch Drops
The Doktor’s Curse event returns to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege from 14 October to 2 November. A post on the game’s Steam page announced the dates at 2am AEDT on Thursday 15 October. It gives no start or end time of day. The post calls the event “one of Rainbow Six Siege’s most beloved limited-time events.”
The event centres on the Hide & Seek game mode. Players choose a side, either hunting prey as a Hunter or evading capture as a Monster with abilities designed for the event.
It is played in Doktor’s Lab, which the post describes as “a heavily modified version of Clubhouse built specifically for Hide & Seek gameplay.” The post adds that players can use the environment to their advantage, tracking Monsters or surviving until time runs out.
Players can claim a free Event Pack, which unlocks an event-exclusive cosmetic. Further rewards come from completing challenges and taking part in the event.
The event collection has 33 event-exclusive items. It includes new Operator bundles for Hibana, Mute and Grim.
The Selenic Trail M590A1 Memento can now be bought directly. The post says it comes bundled with 5 Event Packs. The post gives no prices.
Twitch Drops are also part of the event. Watching participating Rainbow Six Siege streams on Twitch earns extra rewards, once a player has linked their accounts.
The event window closes on 2 November.
