Risk of Rain 2’s fourth expansion, Hallowed Concepts, went live on Steam early this morning, Australian time.
The launch post went up at 3:40am AEDT and lists two new survivors. Enforcer is unlocked by default, and Acolyte has to be unlocked.
It also lists one new curio, the N’Tormat, along with three new enemies, three new bosses and a new elite type.
There are three new standard stages, several new trial stages, 14 Hexes and 11 Hallowed Items.

On Steam in Australia, Hallowed Concepts is A$21.95. The store page sets out who needs to own it in a multiplayer lobby.
Only one player is required to own Hallowed Concepts to enable the monsters, levels, and items to appear in-game for the whole lobby. Players without the expansion will be unable to select the new survivors or permanently unlock new items, logbooks, or other content.
The same update changes the base game for everyone. Six of the original survivors gain a new skill each, among them Sabotage for Commando and Laser Cutter for Engineer.
An optional Karma system can make the final fight on the moon significantly harder.
The update also rebalances the Halcyon Shrine. It now appears in about half of runs on Stage 1, siphons gold faster and spawns three golems instead of two.

The patch notes give the reason in a developer note.
Having the Halcyon Shrine spawn so often on early stages led to many runs feeling front-loaded and an unhealthy expectation for Stage 1.
Smaller fixes follow. Gunner Turrets can now be repaired after they die, and Engineer’s Bubble Shield now blocks explosions from outside it.
The False Son boss also had a 1% critical hit chance, added by the developers for fun. The notes say it is now zero.
The base game is A$11.86 on Steam in Australia, down 67%, until 22 October.
