KRAFTON is pulling the plug on its first LMG Meta Rotation early. Update 44.1 lands on PC today, and your vehicles are about to get a lot harder to kill.
Update 44.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds goes live after PC maintenance from 00:00 to 08:30 UTC today. That is 11am to 7:30pm AEDT by our conversion, so plan your evening drop for after it. Console players wait until 12 November, with maintenance from 01:00 to 09:00 UTC, which is midday to 8pm AEDT.
The headline change is gunplay, because the LMG Meta Rotation that started in August is over. Reload time, recoil, aiming speed and spawn rates for LMGs all go back to where they were before the August update. The M249 and MG3 return to their old balance while the RPD is brought into line with them. In the notes, the developers say LMGs “became a stronger-than-intended option, limiting the choices of other weapons”, and that Meta Rotations will return with a new approach in 2027.

If you drive, this patch is for you. Vehicle health goes up by 8% on bikes, buggies, boats and the Quad. It rises 10% on cars such as the Dacia, UAZ and Pickup, and 15% on the Porter, Pico Bus, Van, Food Truck, Pillar UAZ and BRDM-2. Tyres last longer too, by up to 75% on the bigger vehicles, and the Van, Pico Bus and Food Truck now have a trunk with 300 capacity. The BRDM-2 climbs hills better and goes faster, and the Buggy should slide around less.
Two co-op modes come back harder. Dawnbreakers of Rondo returns with a single Nightmare difficulty set in a burning Jadena City. It runs on PC until 07:00 UTC on 25 November, and Xeno Point: Hell follows on PC from 18 November. Both have clear-time leaderboards on PUBG Bridge.

Ranked Season 44 starts with the maintenance and the leaderboard resets, so check your final Season 43 tier on your Career page before your rewards land. The P90 Ranked Weapon Skin is this season’s permanent Tier Reward. The minimum standards for Platinum and above have also gone up.
There is a change for Asia-Pacific console players too. Normal match Duo is being switched off in the APAC region on console, and APAC Solo on console now only runs from 02:00 to 16:00 UTC each day. By our conversion, that is 1pm to 3am AEDT.
Elsewhere, PUBG Fantasy returns for PGC 2026, with details due at the end of November, and the maps carry PGC 2026 theming. The PUBG x IVE collaboration also arrives with this update.
