Art The Clown Joins The Fog
Behaviour Interactive has published the patch notes for the Dead by Daylight Update 10.3.0 Public Test Build, and its headline is The Terrifier, Art the Clown.
According to the 10.3.0 patch notes, the new Killer’s power is Bag of Toys. Opening the bag offers two random Toys, each single-use, and the bag then goes on cooldown.
There are five Toys: an Acid Bottle, a Flail, a Handgun, a Flamethrower and a Bike Horn. Most of them inflict a Torture effect on injured Survivors, and a second, different Toy downs a tortured Survivor and leaves them Terrified.
Each Toy also builds Deadliness when it applies Torture. At maximum Deadliness a Toy can down injured Survivors outright, and a fully charged Bike Horn interrupts and regresses any repair or heal in progress.
The Terrifier’s three Perks are Laughingstock, Kill Spree and Funny Business. Kill Spree lets the Killer kill Survivors once every remaining Survivor has two Hook States and all Generators are done.
The new Survivor is Sienna Shaw, with the Perks Valkyrie’s Rage, Shared Trauma and Best Gift Ever. A new realm, The Subdivisions, arrives with the Hartshorne Mall map.
The build also adds gore customisation in the Gameplay settings. Death Sequences can be toggled to reduce their goriness, and blood can be switched to a neutral green.
The PTB also updates the Survivor Perks Dark Sense, Calm Spirit and Slippery Meat, and the Killer Perks Dark Arrogance, Ravenous and Whispers.
Behaviour’s own Terrifier announcement describes the Killer and Survivor but does not give a release date, and neither do the patch notes.
The chapter follows the Diablo Collection, which arrived last week.
