Blightstone has left Early Access and is now at version 1.0 on Steam.
The developer’s announcement was published at 5:47am AEDT on Saturday 17 October and is signed by the Blightstone Team. Steam lists Unfinished Pixel as the developer, with Unfinished Pixel and Kepler Ghost as publishers.
Steam describes the game as “A challenging, turn-based strategy with a roguelike edge.” Steam’s Australian store lists it at A$16.79, which is 30 per cent off A$23.99. The page labels it an introductory offer and says it ends on 30 October.

The post lists what 1.0 adds. It names controller support, additional languages, improved UI scaling for smaller screens and different resolutions, and improvements to make the game playable on Steam Deck.
It also changes the Blights system. Higher Blight levels now give “extra starting Gem and Relic slots, as well as an additional starting hero.”
The post is frank about the changes made during Early Access. The team writes the following about its recent Major Update.
“We know that some of these changes, especially those introduced in our recent Major Update, haven’t been what everyone was hoping for. We understand that some players preferred aspects of the previous version, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who has shared their thoughts with us.”
When we checked on 17 October, the Steam store showed 569 user reviews, with 440 positive and 129 negative, and labelled them “Mostly Positive”. That is a single store’s count and it will change.

The post says what happens next. “Version 1.0 marks the completion of Blightstone’s main development journey.” It continues, “From now on, our focus will be on fixing bugs and addressing any important issues that may arise.”
Steam lists the game for Windows. It lists eleven languages: English, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Korean, Japanese, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian and Catalan.
Neither the post nor the store page says where the studio is based, so this piece does not place it.
