ARC Raiders Update 2.2 is rolling out with the Wreck Set and a long list of fixes. The PvE toggle test is over, and a survey goes out on 22 October.
Restart your game to download Update 2.2. Embark’s Steam post says it is “rolling out right now with the Wreck Set and a number of fixes”. We read it on Wednesday 21 October. It went up at 8:01pm AEDT on Tuesday 20 October, by our conversion from 09:01 UTC.
The post does not say what is in the Wreck Set.
The PvE toggle test has also wrapped up. If you tried it, Embark wants to hear how PvE compared with your usual runs, and how the normal PvPvE mode changed during the test. Use the PvE feedback channel on Discord. A survey goes to a representative sample of players from 22 October. Embark’s thank-you page has more. Our earlier report covers how the test worked.

Here is what changes when you drop in.
The Frigate gets the biggest fixes. You can no longer be ejected from the cargo while it falls. Riders on the side of a cargo drop are no longer knocked out instantly, and being crushed now only applies at the landing point. Thruster heat only burns areas near landing.
The grappling hook gets a polish. Swapping weapons right after a throw should no longer break your animations. Rappelling, auto-vaulting and rope climbs are all smoother. One wall-run change catches people out: jumping off the wall now needs you to hold backward.
ARC enemies shift too. Embark says certain ARC could aim too accurately at sliding players, and that is fixed. The Hydra now spreads its weapons across targets as intended, with its base damage raised to compensate.
ARC Turbines should spawn in an overwhelming majority of sessions, if not all, in Buried City, Riven Tides, Blue Gate and Spaceport. On Dam Battlegrounds, they are removed from standard sessions and most minor map conditions.

The Expedition Vault tab and its offer are removed. The Reward Pass gets a Feats rebalance, with new Feats added, some removed and others rebalanced.
Known issues are still listed. Some Xbox players may see instability or crashes. The Raider Tool can show the default skin, and the grapple hook can rarely throw you upwards at high speed.
ARC Raiders is A$57.99 on Steam in Australia, with no discount showing when we checked. On Steam’s most-played chart it ranked 12th on 21 October, up from 9th last week. We had already covered how Embark handles cheaters in our anti-cheat explainer.
