Arcade-Puzzle Game Faraway Dated For PlayStation 5
Faraway has a release date. PlayStation’s trailer for the arcade-puzzle game says it is “coming November 5th to PlayStation 5.”
The trailer went up on PlayStation’s YouTube channel at 15:15 UTC on 19 October, which was 2:15am AEDT on Tuesday 20 October (our conversion). It is titled Faraway – Release Date Trailer | PS5 Games.
The video’s description calls Faraway a “randomly-generated, minimalistic and demanding, arcade-puzzle game about a shooting star that designs constellations to stay alive.”
It says the game has “immersive realtime visuals and interactive music.” It also says you can “play in quick bites or hours-long sessions.”
On who made it, the description says Faraway was “created single-handedly by game designer, creative coder, and musician Steph Thirion, creator of the cult game Eliss.”
The description gives a date and a platform and no time of day, so we cannot say when on 5 November it unlocks in Australia. It lists no price and mentions no other platforms.
We have not watched the trailer’s footage for this article, so nothing here describes what it shows. The description also does not say whether the studio is Australian or independent, so we make no claim either way.
The PlayStation Store page linked from the video is the place to check for an Australian price when one is listed.
