Good news if you have been eyeing off 007 First Light!
Steam in Australia has it at A$59.97. That is 40 per cent off A$99.95, and the store page says the offer ends on 22 October (it gives no time of day, so we would not leave it to the last minute). IO Interactive is both developer and publisher on Steam, and the page gives a release date of 26 May.
IO Interactive’s Steam post, titled “Get Up to 40% Off on 007 First Light!”, went up at 4:18am AEDT on Friday 16 October. Its tagline reads “Your chance to play this standalone, re-imagined origin story.”
If you want a bit more, the Deluxe Edition upgrade is on sale too. Steam lists it at A$14.40, down from A$24.00. The store art lists four exclusive outfits, one new weapon skin and a Gleaming Pack.
The post also points you to the studio’s latest free DLC. “Enjoy all of the new content from our latest FREE DLC, “Extended Operations””, it says, but it does not say what is in it, so we can’t tell you either!
We have not played the game for this piece, so there is no verdict here. We are just passing on the price.
So open Steam, check the A$59.97 for yourself, and get stuck in before 22 October!
