Macabre Point-And-Click Adventure Launches With 10 Per Cent Off
Allogloom is out on Steam. The store page gives a release date of 13 October, and lists the developer as Galactic Ghosty and the publisher as Iceberg Interactive.
The developer’s launch-day post, published at 1:27am AEDT on Wednesday 14 October, describes the game’s maker as a “solo developer from New Zealand.” Steam’s own description says the same, calling it a point-and-click adventure by “solo developer Galactic Ghosty.”
Steam’s short description reads “Join Nora in this mysterious and macabre point and click adventure game.” You find and collect items to solve puzzles, talk to peculiar people and monsters alike, and explore Gruesome Grove and beyond.
The longer description sets up the mystery. “Something is abducting the residents of Gruesome Grove,” it says, and Nora has to work out what happened before there is no one left to save.

Steam’s Australian store lists the game at A$19.12. That is 10 per cent off A$21.25. The page labels it an introductory offer, says it ends on 27 October and gives no time of day.
The game is listed for Windows only. Steam lists eight supported languages: English, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Simplified Chinese, French, Polish and Portuguese (Brazil).
The post is mostly a thank-you note. It thanks the players who found bugs and gave feedback during development, and it hopes everyone enjoys exploring Gruesome Grove and beyond.
When we checked early on 17 October, Steam showed 48 user reviews, all of them positive. That is a count of reviews on a single store, and it will change as more players weigh in.

Neither the post nor the store page gives a sales figure, and this piece does not rate the game. It reports what the developer and Steam say, and the game has not been played for review.
