Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 4.6 Phase II Event Warp has opened, with the returning character Mortenax Blade and the Light Cone Reforged in Hellfire. HoYoverse’s notice also keeps Pearl and Colors for Tomorrow boosted until 10 November, in server time.
HoYoverse’s Event Warp notice went up on HoYoLAB at 06:00 UTC on 20 October, which is 5pm AEDT by our conversion. It lists two pairs of limited banners. The notice gives its dates in “server time” and does not say which time zone that is, so we have not converted them.
The first pair has run since the Version 4.6 update on 28 September. The limited 5-star character Pearl (Elation: Ice) and the 5-star Light Cone “Colors for Tomorrow (Elation)” are boosted until 15:00 on 10 November. The banners are “An Ocean in a Pearl” and “Brilliant Fixation: Colors for Tomorrow”.
The second pair started at 12:00 on 21 October and also ends at 15:00 on 10 November. The returning limited 5-star character Mortenax Blade (Nihility: Fire) and the 5-star Light Cone “Reforged in Hellfire (Nihility)” are on “Now I Am Become Blade” and “Bygone Reminiscence: Reforged in Hellfire”.

Qingque (Erudition: Quantum), Xueyi (Destruction: Quantum) and Misha (Destruction: Ice) are boosted 4-star characters on both character banners. The 4-star Light Cones are “Post-Op Conversation (Abundance)”, “Planetary Rendezvous (Harmony)” and “Boundless Choreo (Nihility)”. The notice says the rates are “boosted” and gives no figures.
The notice sets out how the counters work, and it is worth reading before you open the Warp screen. Pearl and Mortenax Blade can only be obtained from their own character banners, and the two character banners share the same guaranteed drop counter. The two Light Cone banners share theirs. The notice says those counts are independent of other types of Warps, and that limited characters and Light Cones will not be available in the Stellar Warp event.
There is also a trial. The “Aptitude Showcase” lets you try Pearl, Qingque, Xueyi and Misha from the Version 4.6 update, and Mortenax Blade from 21 October. You need to unlock Travel Log, and completing the challenges awards Stellar Jades, Adventure Logs, Universal Enhancement Materials and Credits.
HoYoverse’s official site is at hsr.hoyoverse.com. When we read Apple’s top-grossing games charts on 23 October, Honkai: Star Rail ranked 41st in Japan and 64th in Korea. It was not in the top 100 on the Australian or US charts we read. Those are other countries’ charts, not Australia’s. Our earlier Zenless Zone Zero report covers HoYoverse’s other gacha game.
