Four Halloween Events Running Now, And When They End
Halloween falls on Saturday, and several games on Steam already have their seasonal events live. The four below come from each developer’s own announcement.
Where a post gives an end time, it is converted to Sydney time by Gamers Classified. Where a post gives no time zone or no end date, that is said. DayZ and Rust also have events on, covered in our DayZ Halloween report and Rust Halloween article.
Deep Rock Galactic: Hoxxes Halloween 2026 (until 5 November)
Ghost Ship Games put the event live on 22 October. Completing the Halloween assignment unlocks the new Straw Boss headgear, and the Last Year’s Horrors assignment unlocks the previous Halloween hats.
Flying skulls are back in the caves. Shooting them down and depositing them earns a Double Performance Point Bonus, and the Space Rig has once again been haunted.
The event runs until 13:00 CET on Thursday 5 November, which is 11pm AEDT that night.
Don’t Starve Together: Hallowed Nights
Klei brought Hallowed Nights back on 26 October. The highlights are an enchantable Witch’s Broom, leaves that collect into piles in the Deciduous forests, and Pumpkin Bombs found during the event.
Temporary spooky costumes are available to everyone for a limited time, and items from the Hallowed Nights and Costume collections have increased drop rates. There are two free Trick or Treat chests, plus a paid Pumpkin Patch Chest holding the Haunted Hovel and Pumpkin Patch wall, gate and fence skins. The post gives no end date.
Delta Force: Raven’s Deal And The Trickster Store (23 October to 9 November)
The Halloween Update added a Trickster Store to the Operations, Warfare and Detonation modes. Event tokens earned in each mode, including the Raven’s Deal missions in Operations, are exchanged there for rewards such as the P90 – Ahsarah Wraith skin.
The post lists the event as running from 10/23 to 11/9, without a time zone.
Battlefield 6: Dead Space: Convergence
The crossover began on 20 October. Its new mode, Marker Incursion, is a 16-player PvE experience in which squads destroy Marker Shrines and try to stop the Marker’s influence before Convergence.
The DS-23 Pulse Rifle appears as a Battle Pick-Up, and event challenges unlock rewards headed by the Aegis VII soldier skin. The event guide gives no end date.
