The Riot schedule puts the first Swiss Stage matches of League of Legends Worlds 2026 at 4am on Saturday in Sydney. Two teams from the LCP, the Pacific league, are in round one, so set your alarm.
This is an esports story an Australian would follow, not an Australian team story. We found no source naming an Australian player or organisation on either LCP roster, so we are not claiming one.
The Worlds 2026 page on Riot’s LoL Esports site lists the event as running from 15 October to 15 November. The Play-Ins are finished, and the Swiss Stage starts at 17:00 UTC on Friday 23 October, which is 4am AEDT on Saturday 24 October by our conversion.
Round one is eight best-of-one matches, one an hour. The times below are AEDT on Saturday 24 October:
- 4am: Gen.G Esports v Invictus Gaming
- 5am: Hanwha Life Esports v TOP ESPORTS
- 6am: BILIBILI GAMING v Movistar KOI
- 7am: Anyone’s Legend v Karmine Corp
- 8am: G2 Esports v Dplus KIA
- 9am: Team Liquid Alienware v CTBC Flying Oyster
- 10am: LOS v T1
- 11am: Team Secret Whales v LYON

The team data from Riot lists CTBC Flying Oyster and Team Secret Whales as LCP teams, in the Pacific region. They are the only two of the sixteen round-one teams with that home league. MVK Esports, the other LCP side in the Play-Ins, lost its last listed series 3-0 to Karmine Corp and is not in the round-one list.
Round two is listed for 4am to 11am on Sunday 25 October, and the pairings are not set yet. After the Swiss Stage, the schedule has the quarter-finals starting at 9am AEDT on Wednesday 4 November, the semi-finals on 8 and 9 November and the final at 6am AEDT on Sunday 15 November.
The LCP is also where Australian organisation Ground Zero Gaming is chasing a place. Our report on its LCP Promotion Series run has the dates, and our look at the 2027 LCP changes covers the new path into the league. You can follow the LCP and all of LoL Esports on the same site.
