Oceania’s Tier 2 Rainbow Six season ends with The Gauntlet, and two spots are still open. If your team missed out on a seed, the Last Chance Qualifier this Saturday is the way in.

Ubisoft laid out the APAC Challenger Circuit Playoffs on 23 October. Each of the region’s three Tier 2 circuits gets an eight-team playoff, and The Gauntlet is the one for Oceania, where this year’s circuit was the Oceanic Rivals.

Six of the eight Gauntlet places are already filled on Challenger Circuit points. The seeds are Circular Planets, Conquest, The Groupers, The Thuggers, Holy Honehekes, and BGNs Black/Wolves core. Ubisoft adds that invites depend on team availability and roster requirements.

The last two places go to the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday 31 October. It is single elimination, best-of-one and best-of-three, and starts at 1pm local time. You sign up through Challengermode, and the details are in the official Discord.

The Gauntlet itself runs from 3 to 6 December, with times given in AEDT:

  • Thursday 3 December, 6pm: quarter-finals 1 and 2, best-of-three
  • Friday 4 December, 6pm: quarter-finals 3 and 4, best-of-three
  • Saturday 5 December, 4pm: both semi-finals, best-of-three
  • Sunday 6 December, 4pm: the grand final, best-of-five

The prize money is in Australian dollars. First place takes A$2,250 and second A$1,250, third and fourth get A$750 each, and fifth to eighth get A$250 each. All eight teams also earn preferential seeding in the Challenger Finals next year.

Every match will be broadcast live from a studio. The English stream is on R6Bravo and REKT.

The top tier is busy too. The Osaka Major runs from 6 to 15 November, with predictions open now. Our last Siege story was the mid-season patch. Ubisoft’s Challenger Circuit hub has more on the APAC circuit.

If you are chasing a spot, get your five together before Saturday.
