A Rhythm Platformer Built Around 480 Milliseconds
Suri: The Seventh Note has a release date. The rhythm platformer arrives on PS5 on 30 October 2026, and PlayStation posted its release date trailer to YouTube on 28 September.
The game is the debut from Tathvamasi Studios, and it is part of the PlayStation India Hero Project. Writing on the PlayStation Blog, the team says it has been in development for four years.
The player follows Ajira, and the Steam page describes a journey through “a beautiful but treacherous world to save your mother’s life,” timing jumps, dashes and tricks to the music.
The island of Suri draws on Indian art and architecture. The blog post names Rajput forts, Theyyam culture and Himalayan monasteries among its influences.
The music changes with the region. According to the post, the south of the island uses a veena instead of a sitar, and the desert areas look to the musical traditions of Rajasthan. Eighty per cent of the music was recorded on original analogue instruments.
The timing is precise. The main beats of the game sit 480 milliseconds apart, a gap the studio calls a balance “between responsiveness, rhythmic clarity, and gameplay momentum.”
Pre-orders are open on PS5 in two editions. Both carry a 20% pre-order discount for PlayStation Plus members. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds an exclusive Chandini skin and DLC, plus “3 day early access to the full game”.
The Chandini content will not be sold separately, but it stays in the Digital Deluxe Edition after launch.
A PC version is listed on Steam for the same date, and a free demo has been on Steam since 21 May. Neither the post nor the Steam page lists an Australian price.
