Season 1 Trailer For Modern Warfare 4
PlayStation has posted the Season 1 launch trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, ahead of the season’s start next week.
The video’s description says “The hunt is on in Season 1”, with new events to evolve Camos, bonus XP when partied up, new Multiplayer maps and modes, and a DMZ that expands into a fortified North Korean weapons facility.
Activision’s Season 1 post gives the start time as midnight ET on 6 November, or 9pm PT on 5 November. In Sydney that is 4pm AEDT on Friday 6 November, by our conversion.
Three Multiplayer maps arrive at launch: Backstab and Canyon, both new, and a reimagined Shoot House. Ministry and Overflow follow at mid-season.
The post also names a featured Kill Block: Crash combination, where all three slabs stay static between rounds, and notes that a remastered Shipment, set on a Russian harbour, has been playable since 27 October in the lead-up to the season.

Grind and Drop Zone return at launch, alongside Gauntlet 1v1 Gunfight through the Wager Match Event. Two party modes come earlier, in the pre-season: Possession on 29 October and Infected on 30 October.
New weapons include the CSG-35 SMG and the Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle, with the JAK 12 Shotgun and the ZLR Talonhawk melee weapon later in the season.
In DMZ, the post opens the X01 facility, a former Russian site on the edge of Hajin now held by North Korean forces, with new Orders guided by Ghost. The post says X01 holds equipment unavailable elsewhere, and that once it starts to close off extraction points, Operators have to complete the required steps to escape.
Call of Duty: Warzone gets the Hajin and Zodiac maps in Season 1, and Activision says a separate Warzone post and roadmap are due on 2 November.
Season 1 follows the game’s worldwide launch last week.
