Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor Confirmed For The Year 1 Character & Stage Pass
Thor (Jane Foster) is the second DLC character in the Year 1 Character & Stage Pass for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. PlayStation posted the character trailer to its YouTube channel at 11pm AEDT on Sunday 11 October.
The description says the new fighter is “coming this Winter”. It gives no release date.
It introduces her as “the Mighty Thor”, who “wields the legendary Mjolnir”. The music is credited to Keiichi Okabe of MONACA, and the developer is named as Arc System Works.
The trailer follows the reveal of Phoenix Cyclops, the pass’s first character. As we reported on Thursday, Cyclops arrives on 2 November.
Those are the first two of the four characters that Steam lists for the pass, which also includes one stage and a set of result screen character poses. Steam says the poses are available instantly, and that the remaining content is expected by 31 December 2027.
On Steam in Australia, the base game is A$109.95. The Year 1 Characters and Stage Pass is A$52.95. Neither price was discounted when we checked.
The description says the game is “available now on PS5 and PC”. Its Steam page gives a release date of 6 August 2026, and lists PlayStation Publishing LLC as the publisher.
The page describes Marvel Tōkon as a 4v4 tag team fighter with a roster of 20 Marvel characters at launch, made by PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works and Marvel Games.
No price for the new character has been given, and the description does not say whether it will be sold separately from the pass.
