Passenger Transport Comes To Euro Truck Simulator 2
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is trading cargo for passengers. SCS Software has posted the official trailer for its Coaches DLC, and the announcement sets the release date as 12 November 2026.
The DLC adds three officially licensed coaches: the Scania Touring, the Volvo 9700 DD and the MAN Lion’s Coach. Each comes with its own chassis configurations, engine choices, interior trims and accessories.
Players can buy a coach of their own, take on passenger transport jobs and drive the roads of ETS2 from what SCS calls “a completely new perspective.”
Driving style matters with passengers on board. The post points to a G-force indicator, and asks drivers to take corners carefully and avoid harsh braking while keeping to a timetable.
There are three kinds of work. Quick Jobs earn money before a coach is bought, Contract Jobs run scheduled services with multiple stops, and Tourist Jobs take passengers on scenic trips to landmarks.
SCS also says it plans to keep expanding the DLC with more licensed coaches, new customisation options and additional features.
The Australian Steam store lists Coaches as coming soon for Windows, macOS and Linux, with no price shown yet.
The post asks players to add the DLC to their Steam wishlist to be notified when it releases.
It is the second ETS2 expansion news in as many days. SCS also detailed the ferries for its Iceland DLC, which Gamers Classified reported on Sunday, and the Iceland trailer sits alongside the Coaches trailer on the SCS YouTube channel.
