Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Of Cult Of The Lamb Launches
Nintendo of America has uploaded the launch video for Cult of the Lamb – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. The video’s description says the game is out now.
The upload went up at 12:00 on 26 October in US Pacific time. Converted to Sydney time, that was 6:00am AEDT on 27 October.
The description sets out what the new version changes. It reads “The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Cult of the Lamb includes enhanced resolution, improved frame rates, and GameShare support.”
It also says “The upgrade will be available for free to owners of the original Switch version of Cult of the Lamb.”
The description does not give a price for anyone buying the game new, and no Australian eShop price was checked for this report. The video itself was not watched, so nothing here describes what it shows.

Cult of the Lamb is made by Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital, as its Steam page lists them. On PC, Steam’s Australian store lists the game at A$35.95. The studio describes itself on its own site as “an award-winning independent game development studio”.
The same page says “Monster sightings have been recorded in our offices in Australia and the United Kingdom.” That makes the Switch 2 Edition a launch from a studio with a local office.
The studio’s site also lists Woolhaven, a story expansion, as out now in a post dated 27 January 2026.
Owners of the Switch version can claim the upgrade without paying again.
