Hello Games has put out its Halloween update for No Man’s Sky, and it is a big one. Forsaken is Update 7.10, and it arrives on the same day as the game’s iPhone and iPad release.
The headline system is the forsaken traders. Haunting mementos now turn up at infested outposts, deep-space hulks, derelict freighters and planetary dig sites, according to the 7.10 patch notes. Collect them and you can summon a forsaken trader at a space outpost and swap them for spooky corvette modules. Hang around a memento too long, though, and hostile boundary horrors will come for you.
The traders stock new cockpits, habs and biomechanical hull parts. The Steam post names the larva tank helmet and a grub cannon Multi-Tool among the rewards, and the patch notes add a unique player title for determined salvagers. Bring enough preserved grubs if you want the Larva Cannon.

There is plenty more beyond the Halloween content. You can now warp straight to nearby stars by targeting them in space, without opening the Galaxy Map. Corvette owners with a gravitino coil can take space courier missions from deep-space outposts. Multi-Tool modes sit on a radial wheel, and a new Minimal HUD mode trims the compass, hazard bars and mission notifications. Off-planet bases can also be uploaded for other Travellers to visit.
The iOS version is also out. The Australian App Store listing shows the game as free from Hello Games Ltd, at version 7.10.2, released at 6pm AEDT on 28 October by our conversion. It needs iOS 26.0, and the listed app size is about 3.8GB.

Hello Games says iPhone 11 owners and up, and third-generation iPad Air owners and up, can try the first part of the game for free. The studio’s earlier iOS post said multiplayer is not supported on iPhone and iPad, and Planetary Settlements need an iPhone 15 Pro or later.
On PC, the game is A$35.18 on the Australian Steam store right now, down from A$87.95. Hello Games develops and publishes it itself.
Forsaken is the fifth major update of the game’s tenth anniversary year, after Remnant, Xeno Arena, The Swarm and Cosmos. If you have a corvette, there are wrecks waiting to be stripped.
