Anyone who has been eyeing DMZ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 without buying in gets a free run at it this weekend, because Activision has opened the mode up for nothing!
The free trial runs from 12pm PT on 6 November to 10am PT on 11 November, according to the Call of Duty post. For us in Sydney and Melbourne that’s 7am AEDT this Saturday to 5am AEDT on Thursday 12 November (our conversion, so check your own state’s clock).
The trial is full access to DMZ, the extraction mode on Hajin that we covered when Season 1 arrived. Activision pitches it as a place where players can “go solo or squad up to loot, fight, negotiate, betray, and extract with whatever you can carry across Hajin.”
The post doesn’t say whether progress carries over to a purchase afterwards, so we won’t guess. For anyone hooked by Thursday, the full game is A$109.95 on Steam in Australia right now.
So grab a mate, drop into Hajin and see if you can get out with your loot before Thursday morning!
