Maintenance starts at 8pm AEDT tonight and should run about two hours. When the servers return, you can fight over the Infinity Stones in duos, and Iron Man’s missiles will home in on their own.
Marvel Rivals moves to Season 10.5 tonight. The patch notes put the start at 9am UTC on 9 October. That is 8pm AEDT, 7pm in Brisbane and 5pm in Perth, with maintenance estimated at two hours. Plan your last ranked games for before then.
The headline is a new mode, Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War. Twelve players form six duo squads, and each round two squads face off head-to-head. The first squad to collect all six Infinity Stones wins. It runs until 8pm AEDT on 11 December. NetEase talks through the season in its Dev Vision video.
The Infinity Finale season event runs to 8pm AEDT on 10 December. Complete its quests and you earn Thor’s The Avengers costume for free. In Times Square, watch the Infinity War screening for two minutes to unlock a Gallery Card. Take a group photo at the photo walls for an Avengers Emblem spray and 100 Units. Both end at 8pm AEDT on 22 October.
Alchemax Headquarters joins the 18 VS.18 mode. Twitch Drops start at 11pm AEDT tonight and run until 6 November, with Angela’s Will of Galacta costume in this round. The Gold-tier rank reward is Jeff the Land Shark’s Razor-Tooth costume.
Now to the balance post. Iron Man’s Micro-Missile Barrage now locks onto nearby enemies, with single-shot damage cut from 20 to 10 and projectile speed raised from 15m/s to 60m/s. Phoenix gets more damage, with Cosmic Flames up from 60 to 65, but detonating Sparks now gives Bonus Health instead of healing her.
Gorr takes a small cut. Shadow Scythe drops from 55 to 50 plus 2% of the target’s maximum health, and his ultimate lasts 10 seconds instead of 12. Jubilee heals herself during Sparking Sprint, and her ultimate’s healing field goes from 150/s to 180/s. If you play Devil Dinosaur, your base health drops from 850 to 825. Scarlet Witch’s Chthonian Burst falls from 40 to 35.
Cyclops gets a little stronger too. Optic Blast goes from 22 to 23 damage and Ruby Rage costs less energy. The Phoenix Cyclops bundle also arrives in the store tonight.
