Been eyeing off the mech farming game? Lightyear Frontier is 40% off on Steam until 3 October, and FRAME BREAK says it’s the last sale before the price goes up at 1.0!
When we checked this evening it was A$22.17 on the Australian Steam store, down from A$36.95. The studio has put the 1.0 price at US$29.99 (it says prices may vary in other regions), and it hasn’t given an Australian figure yet, so we can’t tell you what it’ll cost here after launch.
1.0 lands on 4 November, on Steam and on Xbox Series X|S, where the Game Preview version was A$37.45 on the Australian Microsoft Store. Your existing saves carry over, so you won’t be starting your homestead from scratch.
The full release brings a story finale, two new regions called Sandswept Highlands and Hollow Marsh, a Seed Shooter Minigun mod (yes, a minigun for seeds) and no more day transitions. You can still farm with up to three friends.
What: Lightyear Frontier, last Early Access sale
When: Until 3 October; 1.0 on 4 November
Where: Steam for the sale; Steam and Xbox Series X|S for 1.0
Price: A$22.17 on Steam (was A$36.95)
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. Grab it cheap, fire up the mech and get planting!
