Digital Board Game Leaves Early Access With The Full Campaign
Frosthaven has launched in full on PC. The studio’s Steam post, published at 13:00 UTC on 15 October (midnight AEDT going into Friday 16 October), says it is “officially available today on PC (Steam & Epic Games Store).”
The game is the digital adaptation of Isaac Childres and Cephalofair Games’ board game. It spent a year in Early Access, according to the post.
Steam’s Australian store lists it at A$40.95. That is 30 per cent off A$58.50. The post says the Steam discount starts today and the same 30 per cent applies on the Epic Games Store from 19 October. It gives no end date.
The full release brings the complete story campaign, including the final chapter. The patch notes say the final hero joins the roster, for 17 playable heroes in total.

Newcomers get a digital-exclusive introduction called Road to Frosthaven, an improved tutorial and interface changes. A new opening cinematic, hero unlock videos and a fully implemented Codex of lore, characters, creatures and biomes are also in.
Co-op play gets networking improvements. The patch notes add that a party roster can hold several heroes of the same class, but not within one party.
On Steam, two new bundles take a further 10 per cent off. One pairs Frosthaven with Sunderfolk. The Frosthaven Complete Edition adds the soundtrack and a digital art book.
The 1.0 launch trailer was revealed during the Galaxies Showcase on the day. Steam lists the developer as Snapshot Games Inc. and the publisher as Arc Games.
