A Free Week In The Dugout Before Football Manager 27 Launches
The Football Manager 27 Launch Preview is free to play on PC and Mac until 6pm GMT on 3 November, according to Sports Interactive’s free play announcement.
In Sydney that is 5am AEDT on Wednesday 4 November, by our conversion. The full game launches on 10 November.
The free period covers Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. On Game Pass it is only for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, and the post notes that different platforms may go live at different times.
No extra sign-up is needed. The post says players get the complete experience across all game modes, including Shuffle Draft, the new multiplayer addition.

Careers carry over. Anything started in the free period can continue into the paid Launch Preview and the full release without starting again.
Pre-purchase is also open, with 10% off through a SEGA-approved retailer and continued Launch Preview access between 3 November and launch. The Australian Steam store lists the game at A$85.45, down from A$94.95, and it was eighth on Steam’s Australian top sellers this afternoon.
The Launch Preview replaces the series’ earlier Beta and Advanced Access releases. Sports Interactive says it is meant to be closer in quality to the launch version, but bugs are still possible, and there is a bug reporting area on the SI Forums.

The post also warns that some club and player assets may be missing in this version, as some data is still going through approval with rights holders.
That leaves anyone curious about the new season with a free run of almost five days before the paid preview takes over.
