The in-game Blood Moon Festival runs in Cult of the Lamb from 24 October. Woolhaven achievements now sit apart from the base game’s.
If you run a cult in Cult of the Lamb, mark 24 October. Massive Monster’s Steam post says the Blood Moon Festival runs from 24 October to 10 November. That is Saturday to Tuesday, and the post gives no time zone.
The event follows your system clock. The post tells you to make sure your system date and time settings are correct.
Here is how it works, according to the studio.
- Perform the Blood Moon Ritual.
- Ghosts then linger around your base for 3 days.
- Catch them to unlock Follower Forms: Cursed Crow, Vampiric Demon or Skeletal Deer.
- Catch them for Decorations too: Blood Moon Candle, Skull, Tree or Pumpkin.
- Once everything is unlocked, each ghost gives 3 Divine Inspiration points instead.
The post also has a note on achievements. Steam recently added a system to separate them, and the studio says it has split the Woolhaven DLC achievements from the base game’s. The studio hopes you can now see them listed separately.
Massive Monster calls itself “an award-winning independent game development studio” on its own site. It also says it has offices in Australia and the United Kingdom, so the Australian base is the studio’s own word. Devolver Digital is the publisher on the Steam page, which lists the game at A$35.95.
