NC has set Ludra’s return to AION 2 for 4 November, and its Steam post says normal mode and hard mode will be open straight away to players at 2,800 and 3,000 item level. The post, from the game’s community team, went up at 19:00 UTC on 23 October, which is 6am AEDT on 24 October by our conversion.
The post calls Ludra “the first major challenge players will face in AION 2” and says the boss returns “with new mechanics”. The rest of the post is a list of events built around the fight.
The Ludra Conquest Check-In is a login track that runs from 6:00 on 4 November to 23:59 on 17 November, Pacific Standard Time, which is 1am AEDT on 5 November to 6:59pm AEDT on 18 November by our conversion. There are seven rewards across the 14 days, so you can miss up to seven days and still finish. Day 1 is 500,000 Bound Kina, day 6 is 1,000,000 Bound Kina and day 7 is a Lush Leaf Tiara helm.

An Odyle Energy Boost starts earlier. From 28 October to 10 November, logging in each day sends 2x Odyle Energy to your in-game mail, one delivery per character per day, and the mail expires seven days after it arrives. The post gives these dates as “after maintenance” and “before maintenance” and no clock times, so we have not converted them.
Twitch Drops run over the same window as the check-in, with 14 watch-time rewards, from 15 Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) at one hour to a Black Conical Hat helm at 14 hours.
The Ludra Hunt, which runs from the 4 November maintenance to the 24 November maintenance, is where the titles come in. In each of five regions — Europe, NA East, NA West, South America and Asia — the first party to clear hard mode earns the title Conqueror of Ludra, for 10 players per region. Parties two to five earn Champion of Ludra, for 40 players per region, and parties six to 20 earn Challenger of Ludra, for 150. Everyone else who clears normal or hard mode in the window gets Ludra Hunter, and the post says titles will be sent no later than 2 December, 23:59 PST.
There are two community events as well. A Ludra Outfit Contest takes screenshots through Discord, with 6,000 Quna for first place, and Daeva Bootcamp counts dungeon clears towards global milestones that pay out through in-game mail.
The post follows NC’s restriction notice from 22 October, when the developer said it had restricted 15,380 accounts for botting and gold farming, which we covered in our report. AION 2 is free to play on Steam, where its store page lists a 5 October 2026 release.
The post gives 4 November and “after maintenance” for the fight itself, with no start hour, so Australian players will need to wait for NC’s maintenance notice.
