Pokémon GO players, open the app this weekend, because a free piece of Timed Research disappears if you don’t!
The Pokémon GO team says the GO Wild Area: Gigantamax Machamp Power Up Timed Research went live at 10am local time on Friday 6 November. You have to log in before 11:59pm local time on Sunday 8 November to receive it (local time means your own phone’s clock, so no maths needed for once).
The rewards are an encounter with Gigantamax Machamp, plus Machop Candy, Candy XL and Max Particles. If you’re lucky, the Machamp could be Shiny. The team pitches Machamp as help against Gigantamax Duraludon and the other big Pokémon in GO Wild Area: Global.
You don’t need to finish it this weekend, though. The tasks run until 11:59pm local time on Sunday 15 November, which is the same day the Melbourne meetup wraps up.
Further out, the team has also dated Clefable Super Mega Raid Day for Saturday 28 November, 2pm to 5pm local time, with Mega Clefable making its debut.
So if you’ve got a spare minute tonight, open Pokémon GO and grab that research before Sunday runs out!
