Playtime is over, according to Supercell! Clash Royale’s new King vs. King season is all about competition, and you get two new Evolutions to take into it: the Giant and the Mirror.
The Evolved Giant enrages once he takes enough damage, leaving a trail of Rage that boosts every troop following him (and the trail grows with each attack). You can unlock him in Pass Royale or with Wild Shards. The Evolved Mirror copies the last card you played as its Evolution, with one extra level, and it lands in the Shop from the second week of the season.

Daily Puzzles run from 2 to 8 November, one a day, for bragging rights rather than rewards. The King of Cards event and the Royal Market both run from 9 November to 7 December, and you spend Crown Tokens at the market. Supercell’s post also teases a new competitive mode, to be revealed at the Clash Royale League World Finals in Shanghai from 6 to 8 November. Matches start at 3:00 UTC each day, which is 2pm AEDT by our conversion.
Clash Royale is free on the Australian App Store and was 37th on Apple’s top-grossing games chart in Australia when we checked this afternoon. If you have been away from the Arena for a while, now is the time to jump back in and give that Giant a go!
