Tangtang is the Rate-UP 6★ operator on the first RE-Factor Headhunting in Arknights: Endfield. A weapon Issue runs alongside it, and both end on 19 November.

Arknights: Endfield has opened its first RE-Factor banners, and the official notice from publisher Gryphline says the 6-star operator Tangtang is Rate-UP during [Ancestral Spring Flows Anew] RE-Factor Headhunting #1.

Alongside it, [Tender Sprig Issue] RE-Factor Issue #1 raises the chance of the 6★ weapon Brigand’s Calling (Handcannon).

Both run from 29 October at 12:00 to 19 November at 11:59, server time, and the notice gives two server time zones. On the Asia server (UTC+8), that is 3pm AEDT Thursday 29 October to 2:59pm AEDT Thursday 19 November. On the Americas / Europe server (UTC-5), it is 4am AEDT Friday 30 October to 3:59am AEDT Friday 20 November. Those Sydney times are our conversion.

To take part, you need to have finished the main mission Chapter I Process I: Break the Siege.

The headhunting guarantees Tangtang within your first 120 attempts, a guarantee that triggers once across all Ancestral Spring Flows Anew RE-Factor banners, and your attempts carry over to future ones. Reaching 30, 60 and 90 attempts earns 10 bonus Urgent Recruitment attempts at each milestone, also once across those banners, while every 240 attempts adds one Tangtang’s Token.

The weapon Issue has two guarantees. Go three Issues without a 6★ weapon and the fourth guarantees one, though that counter is for this Issue only and does not carry over. Go seven Issues without the Rate-UP 6★ weapon and the eighth guarantees it, once across all Tender Sprig Issue banners. Set numbers of Issue attempts also earn Arms OC: Tender Sprig or the featured handcannon in alternating order.

The notice gives no drop percentages and no prices, and tells you to check in-game for more details, so this article does not give them either or tell you whether to pull.

On popularity, the Chinese version, 明日方舟:终末地, was 98th on Apple’s top-grossing games chart in China in the feed read on 1 November. It was not in the top 100 in Australia.

The game is also on Steam with cross-platform progression, which Gamers Classified covered in October.
