Landspeeder, Skim Speeder Or Speeder Bike: Three Fuse Games Leads Pick Their Builds
The team behind Star Wars: Galactic Racer has published a Game Tactics video in which three of its leads each pick a favourite build. The post went up on the game’s Steam page early on Saturday 10 October, Australian time.
Creative Director Kieran Crimmins, Game Director Bill Lane and Design Director Mark Bridges “provide insight into their favorite builds and playstyles”, according to Fuse Games.
Mark Bridges chooses the landspeeder and a build “designed to take out opponents”.
Bill Lane goes for the skim speeder, which Fuse Games calls “a new Star Wars™ vehicle making its debut” in this game. His build “relies on strategic use of Abilities”.
Kieran Crimmins selects the speeder bike and plans to win races by “taking extreme measures”.
The post sets the three picks against the way the game is built. It calls Galactic Racer a “runs-based reinvention of racing”, where the combination of Racer Styles, Abilities and Parts means players are “sure to find a build that suits you”.
The post is a pointer to the video and does not list any parts, numbers or stats for the builds, so the details are in the video itself.
The Steam page describes a game where you will “Slam, shunt, and takedown rivals across varied circuits” while piloting “landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers”. The three leads each picked one of the first three.
