Heading to PAX Aus this weekend? Bring your phone, because Pikmin Bloom is making one of its first event appearances in Australia, and we’ve got the spots you’ll want to hit!
There are four Special Spots around MCEC, and swiping down on each one gets you a Gold Seedling that grows into its own Decor Pikmin. The PAX Aus Theatres give you a Popcorn one and the Pikmin Bloom stand gives you a Blue Super Mario Keychain one, and Niantic lists both as available to the general public.
The other two are inside the ticketed area: a Chess Piece Decor Pikmin in the Tabletop Hall, and a Rock Game Pak Decor Pikmin at Nintendo’s space (yes, an actual little game cartridge with legs).
Walk in the door and you’ll also get a Spot Challenge to walk 2,000 steps! That one earns a Yellow Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin. Each spot only gives you one seedling for the whole event.
What: Pikmin Bloom at PAX Aus 2026
When: Friday 9 October, 10am, to Sunday 11 October, 6pm
Where: Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Wharf
So charge that phone, lace up your runners and go pick some Pikmin!
