PEAK is now out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 — and Steam players can play with all three, according to the team’s crossplay post of 22 October. It went up at 15:00 UTC, which was 2am AEDT on 23 October once converted.
Lobbies work through the room codes the team introduced “a couple of months ago”. The post answers two questions up front. Progress does not transfer from Steam to other platforms, so console players earn their badges again. As for mods with console players, the post says “Short answer is: no.” It adds that client-side mods may work but are not guaranteed, and asks players to try without mods before reporting a bug.
The team also warns of launch bugs and connection problems from the influx of players. Reports go to its support email, its official Discord server or the Steam forums.

The post also looks ahead. It says the final content update came out in August, and that 208 island maps are now in the game and will “cycle through forever”. The team says it will watch bug reports and slowly wrap up loose ends. In its words, “we don’t plan any more major updates”, though it says the game will not disappear.
The 3.0.0 notes list five bug fixes, including a fix that lets players climb onto a crouching scout’s shoulders again and the removal of the bookworm badge cheat. A 3.0.1 hotfix followed at 18:15 UTC on 23 October. It says room codes for joining games in other regions should now be fixed.
Steam’s Australian store page lists PEAK at A$11.79. The post gives no console prices and we did not check an Australian console listing, so none is stated here. We have not played the console versions.
